Around 668 NGOs across the world participated in GlobalGiving’s Accelerator, a virtual training program and crowdfunding campaign that helps nonprofits on online fundraising. At Washington, DC, July 6, 2018, GlobalGiving published a press release (1) that 99 new NGOs have joined their platform as ‘permanent members’. Tamuku facilitated 8 NGOs in India and Sri Lanka who were among those who got selected for permanent membership.
Each of the organizations has participated in Accelerator and also met GlobalGiving’s rigorous vetting standards for trust and community support, and raised at least $5,000 from 40 donors in June 2018.
Cumulatively, the partner NGOs raised USD 52,596/ INR 36,14,134 from 592 donors.
